I’ve been using Argentium silver wire for some time to make earring wires, but only recently learned it can be fused together without solder. I’ve been having some fun lately incorporating this new-to-me knowledge into my designs. I used 14 gauge jump rings from Rio Grande jewelry supply, in both 10mm and 8mm sizes on a magnesia soldering block with a butane torch. Argentium silver doesn’t blacken, but it does get a bit white, so I pickled it today before tumbling, but I also have put some of the earlier pieces I experimented with straight into the tumbler without pickling and didn’t see a difference. I think the tumbler alone will do the trick. Thanks for watching!❤️
