This project is a little different for me, but it is summer here and this chunky choker necklace feels very much like the season. I am getting my inventory ready for an art and craft fair in November, so soon I will be back in my comfort zone of rich tones and deep colors.
I am trying to better document my jewelry making process here on this blog, but I do a lot of staring, which isn’t much fun to write about. I stared at the beginning of this piece for several weeks, adding some elements, staring some more, taking some elements away, followed by more staring. See, not that exciting haha. After I put it together, guess what, more staring, and decided it wasn’t quite right. I took it apart, as heartbreaking as that was, and below is the end result. So, staring and sometimes crying, that is most of my process. 🙂
Please enjoy what might be my last attempt at bright summer jewelry.
